Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and clickproof, the operator of https://clickproof.app. Creating an account or using the service means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to bind it.

You must be at least 16 years old to use clickproof.

You upload an Android or iOS build and describe a test in plain English. We start a cloud device, install the build, and an AI agent drives the app trying to complete what you described. You get a recording, step-by-step screenshots, and a pass or fail verdict. Connect a repository and the same thing happens on each pull request, reported back to GitHub.

clickproof is early-access software. Features may change or be withdrawn, results will not always be right, and there is no uptime commitment. Do not make it the only thing standing between a defect and your users.

Give accurate details, keep your password and API keys to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. What happens under your account is your responsibility.

One account per person. Do not share logins, and do not let anyone use an account you have been asked to keep to yourself.

Work lives in an organization. Whoever creates it can invite others and set what each of them may do. Members can see the organization's projects, tests, and run reports according to their role, so invite people accordingly. If your organization was created by an employer, that employer controls it, including the ability to remove your access.

• Free accounts get a fixed one-time allowance of runs. Paid plans get an allowance that refreshes each billing period, along with a storage limit and a cap on how many tests can run at once.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in.
• Prices are what the pricing page says at the time you subscribe. If we change them, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you first.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record. Their terms cover the transaction itself, and any tax they are required to charge is added at checkout.
• Fail to pay and we may downgrade the organization to the free plan or suspend it until the balance is settled.

If something goes wrong with a charge, write to support@clickproof.app before opening a dispute with your bank. We would rather refund you than argue about it.

You may only upload and test software you own or have permission to test. This is the rule that matters most: pointing an automated agent at someone else's app or service without authorisation is not something we will host.

You also agree not to use clickproof to:

• Attack, probe, scrape, or overload any system you do not have written permission to test.
• Create accounts in bulk, defeat CAPTCHAs or anti-fraud controls, or otherwise automate something a service’s own terms forbid.
• Handle illegal content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Mine cryptocurrency, host unrelated workloads, or use the devices for anything other than testing your app.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or rent out the service, or copy it to build a competing one.
• Get around plan limits, quotas, or concurrency caps.

We may suspend a run, a project, or an account that we reasonably believe is breaking these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

Your builds, tests, and results are yours. We claim no ownership. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, install your build on a test device, send screenshots to a model provider so the agent can decide what to do next, and show the results back to you and your organization.

That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies sitting in a backup until it is overwritten.

If you save credentials so a test can sign in, they are encrypted at rest and decrypted only inside the runner. What the agent types is stripped from the stored trace.

Use accounts created for testing, on a staging environment. Do not give us production credentials, an administrator account, or an account belonging to a real customer. A test does whatever the description asks, and screenshots keep whatever it saw.

The verdict is a model's judgement, not a guarantee. It can pass a broken flow or fail a working one, and it may take a path a person never would. Treat a result as evidence to look at, keep the recording, and do not ship on a green tick alone. We are not liable for a decision you make on the strength of a verdict.

Report links are designed to be openable without an account, so that reviewers can see a failure. Anyone with the link can see the report. Where that is not appropriate, restrict report links to your organization in the project's settings, or shorten how long they last. Once you have sent a link, what happens to it is out of our hands.

Installing our GitHub App grants it the access GitHub describes at installation: reading pull request metadata and build artifacts, and posting check runs back. We use that access only to run your tests and report results. Remove the App at any time from your repository settings, which stops it immediately.

We aim to keep clickproof running and will try to schedule maintenance when it hurts least, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee. Cloud devices, model providers, and our own infrastructure all have bad days, and a run can fail for reasons that have nothing to do with your app.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who processes it, and how to have it deleted. It forms part of this agreement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, clickproof is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, that it will find every defect, or that its results will be accurate.

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if it was warned they were possible.

Our total liability arising out of this agreement is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars if you paid us nothing.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from content you uploaded, software you tested without the right to test it, or your breach of these terms. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you control the defence, provided any settlement releases us fully.

You can stop using clickproof whenever you like and delete your organization from its settings, which deletes its projects, tests, runs, and stored credentials.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other customers at risk. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will give you notice and a chance to put it right. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and for material changes we will email account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.

The governing law and forum for disputes are being finalised and will be stated here before general availability. In the meantime, contact us and we will agree them with you in writing.

Before starting formal proceedings, please raise the problem with us at support@clickproof.app. Most things are quicker to fix than to litigate.

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing something once does not waive it. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a merger or sale of the business. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about clickproof, replacing anything said earlier.
